Quinn is sailing to Papua Neu Guinea

Hey everyone,

I have some exciting news—this fall, I’m moving to Papua New Guinea for three months to serve on the YWAM Liberty, a medical mercy ship that brings healthcare and the Gospel to remote villages across PNG’s many islands.

A few years ago, YWAM Ships received a Word from the Lord to begin recording audio Bible translations in the 33 languages in PNG that still don’t have Scripture in their heart language. Since many of these villages are only reachable by sea, the Liberty was commissioned to carry both medical teams and the Word of God to these isolated places.

As part of that word, God also told YWAM Ships not to do this alone—but to invite YWAM Montana to help carry the vision. Their leaders reached out, and we said yes.

One way we’re partnering is by sending staff to help with logistical and support roles on the ship—3 months at a time. This fall, I get to be part of that team by serving as the housekeeper. That means I’ll be helping keep the ship clean and welcoming, preparing rooms for incoming teams, and creating space—physically and spiritually—for God to move.

While I’m there, I’ll be joining five outreach trips to remote villages around the Madang Province. I’m expectant to see how God will move through acts of service, quiet moments, and the faithful obedience of everyone onboard.
